The two girls had been walking down a small park path just laughing and joking and just talking about there friends and possible plans when suddenly Maples right ear twitched "whatcha hear hun?" Lenna would ask as she looked at Maple "i hear running water, almost like a waterfall, wanna check it out?" She asked Lenna "ehh sure, we got nothing better to do, lead the way hun" She said and put her paws behind her head, The two soon walked off the path and followed the sound of the running water, Soon the view of a small pond was in sighed, both Maple and Lenna gasped and smiled, Maple walked to the edge of it to look at the small pond, but as she did the ground below her left leg gave way causing her leg to slide forward and for her to lose balance, luckily she was able to stay upright but her left leg had been far submerged in the muck "bleh. alright" The Meowstic would smile at her reassuringly, Maple would smile back and hug her friend, Lenna would hug back and smile "wanna go on a walk hun" Lenna said in a calming but caring voice "that would be absolutely wonderful len, take a small break from all this studying would be pretty nice, regular walk spot?" Maple would ask "of course, where else would we, the ally's?" Lenna said in a sarcastic tone, Maple would just roll her eyes as she giggled, she then stood up and grabbed her boots and coat as it had rained just a few hours ago "ready len?" Maple looked at Lenna "ready as I'll ever be hun" Lenna said as she stood up and put on her sunhat, Maple smiled as she grabbed her keys and walked out, Lenna would lock the door as they walked down the hall and out the front door of the apartment complex. i know and I don't blame you for your outburst just. I-" Lenna would cut her off "your just stressed hun. i was just concerned for ya hun." Lenna would say in almost a mumble and rub her arm, Maple would sigh "s-sorry len. In Maple apartment her and one of her friends, Lenna, were studying for a biology test, "ughhhhhhhh!!" maple groaned "you stressed hun?" Lenna said with concern as she looked over at her "nahhhhh len i'm a pecha berry, yes i'm stressed!" maple would snap at Lenna ".jeez.
Maple is a hardworking Leafeon that is just a college student just doing all she can to get past, With only a few friends and not much income with a minimum wage retail job at a local poke-mart, she clearly doesn't have much time to herself but when she does she loves to go on nature walks with her friends or herself, little did she or her friends know this walk would change her life forever.
